The regions

Where should you go in Alberta?

Alberta’s Rockies are compact enough to see well in a week, but the best hotels and lakeside rooms book up early. We reserve the lodges, arrange park shuttles and private drivers, and pace the route so you see the lakes in the quiet morning light.

Jasper

A quieter, wilder park with Maligne Canyon, Maligne Lake and some of the darkest night skies in the Rockies.

The Icefields Parkway winding toward snow-capped peaks near Jasper

The Icefields Parkway

About 144 miles of road between Lake Louise and Jasper, past glaciers, waterfalls and the Columbia Icefield.

The Calgary skyline framed by autumn trees

Calgary

The gateway city to the Rockies, home to the Calgary Stampede each July and about 90 minutes from Banff.
