Questions

Questions travelers ask about Thailand

November to February is the most comfortable time for most of the country. The Andaman coast is best from November to April, and the Gulf islands around Koh Samui are often sunny from February to August.

Ten to fourteen days allows time for Bangkok, Chiang Mai and a beach stay. We plan domestic flights and transfers so you spend less time in transit.

Phuket offers the most choice of resorts and dining, Krabi and the Phi Phi Islands are known for limestone scenery, and Koh Samui suits a quieter Gulf stay. We match the island to your season and travel style.

Yes. We recommend sanctuaries that focus on observation and care rather than riding or performances, and we arrange visits with knowledgeable guides.

Shoulders and knees should be covered, and shoes are removed before entering temple buildings. A light scarf or sarong is easy to carry.

U.S. citizens can currently visit Thailand for short stays without a visa and complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before arrival. Entry rules change, so we confirm the current requirements for your trip.
