The regions
Switzerland packs four languages, lakes and Alpine peaks into a country you can cross by train in a few hours. Your advisor helps you choose the right bases and the scenic routes between them.
A car-free mountain village at the foot of the Matterhorn, with hiking in summer and skiing much of the year.
An international city on the shore of Lake Geneva, known for its lakefront, old town and the Jet d’Eau.
A lakeside city with a Gothic cathedral, near the terraced Lavaux vineyards, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Switzerland’s largest city, with an old town on the Limmat River, fine museums and a lively lakefront.
Italian-speaking Switzerland, with palm-lined lakes, Mediterranean light and towns such as Lugano, Locarno and Ascona.
Alpine peaks, glacier trains and lakeside towns.
One advisor to shape every day around you.
Experiences
Every journey begins with what matters most to you.
The Glacier Express between Zermatt and St. Moritz, and a Swiss Travel Pass for trains, boats and buses.
Mountain restaurants, cheese and chocolate traditions, and wines from the lake regions.
Marked trails for every level, from gentle lakeside walks to high Alpine routes.
Medieval old towns, covered bridges and castles across the country.
World-class museums and landmark architecture in Zurich, Basel and beyond.

Long days for hiking, lake cruises and scenic trains, with Alpine meadows in bloom.
Golden larches, the grape harvest around Lake Geneva and clear mountain views.
Skiing in Zermatt and St. Moritz, Christmas markets and snowy rail journeys.
Questions

For many travelers, yes. It covers trains, buses and boats across most of the country and includes free entry to many museums. We help you decide based on your route.
A panoramic train between Zermatt and St. Moritz, often called the slowest express train in the world, that crosses high passes, gorges and viaducts in about eight hours.
Yes. Zermatt is a car-free village at the foot of the Matterhorn, and the mountain is visible from much of the village and from viewpoints reached by train and cable car, weather permitting.
Many first trips combine Zurich or Lucerne, the Bernese Oberland, Zermatt and Lake Geneva, linked by scenic trains. Ticino adds an Italian accent in the south.
U.S. citizens need a valid passport and can generally visit Switzerland for up to 90 days without a visa. Entry rules for Europe are changing, so we confirm the current requirements for your trip.
