The regions
France rewards slow travel, and the best trips pair Paris with one or two regions linked by fast trains. We choose the hotels and chateau stays, book the private guides, tastings and restaurants, and plan every transfer.
The Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, cafes on the Left Bank and evenings on the Seine, with private guides who make the city feel personal.
Hilltop villages, Roman ruins in Arles and Avignon, markets in Aix-en-Provence and lavender fields in bloom from late June to July.
Nice, Antibes, Cannes and the seaside villages of Villefranche and Menton, with Monaco a short drive along the coast.
Renaissance chateaux such as Chenonceau and Chambord, gardens and wine villages, about two hours from Paris.
An elegant river city and world-famous wine country, with the medieval village of Saint-Emilion and the estates of the Medoc.
Grand cities, quiet villages and long lunches in the countryside.
One advisor to shape every day around you.
Experiences
Every journey begins with what matters most to you.
Private tastings in Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne, with drivers so you can enjoy every glass.
Guided visits to the great chateaux of the Loire, and nights in historic chateau hotels.
Seaside hotels on the Riviera, boat days along the coast and dinners in harbour villages.
Mont-Saint-Michel, the D-Day beaches with an expert guide, and Monet’s garden at Giverny.

Timing
May, June and September are the best months for most of France, with pleasant weather and fewer crowds than July and August. Lavender blooms in Provence from late June to July, and the grape harvest arrives in September and October.
Blossoms in Paris, green vineyards and comfortable weather for touring the regions.
Lavender in Provence, long evenings and the busiest season on the Riviera.
The grape harvest in wine country, golden light and quieter museums.
Holiday markets, Paris without the crowds and skiing in the French Alps.
Questions
May, June and September offer the best balance of weather and crowds. July and August are busiest, especially on the Riviera, and lavender in Provence peaks from late June to July.
U.S. citizens can visit France for up to 90 days without a visa. The European Union is introducing new entry registration systems, so we confirm the current requirements for your trip.
Nonstop flights from New York to Paris take about seven to seven and a half hours. We arrange the flights, the transfer into the city and the onward trains.
