The island
Tenerife has two characters: a green, traditional north and a sunny, resort-lined south, with Mount Teide in between. We choose where to stay, arrange the cable car and guides, and plan the drives, so you enjoy both sides of the island without the planning.
Spain’s highest peak, at more than 12,000 feet, in a UNESCO-listed national park, with a cable car, hiking trails and world-class stargazing.
Colonial mansions with carved wooden balconies, the Casa de los Balcones, botanical gardens and wine tasting in the Orotava Valley.
The island’s capital and cruise port, with the Auditorio de Tenerife, lively markets and the Anaga mountains close by.
Sheer cliffs dropping into the Atlantic on the west coast, with boat trips to see the whales and dolphins that live offshore.
A tiny village in the Teno Mountains, reached by a winding road, with a dramatic gorge that leads down to the sea.
Volcanic peaks, black sand and spring weather all year.
One advisor to shape every day around you.
Experiences
Every journey begins with what matters most to you.
Pilot whales and dolphins live off the southwest coast all year, seen on small boat trips from Los Gigantes.
Trails through Teide National Park, the Masca Gorge and the laurel forests of Anaga, with guides and permits arranged.
Beach resorts in Costa Adeje, spa days and championship golf courses, with year-round sunshine in the south.
Some of the clearest skies in Europe, with sunset on Teide, guided stargazing and visits to the Teide Observatory.

Timing
Tenerife is mild all year, which is why it is called the island of eternal spring. Winter is the most popular season for travelers escaping the cold, and the south is usually sunnier and warmer than the north.
Wildflowers on Mount Teide, green hillsides in the north and comfortable hiking weather.
Warm, sunny beach days, with cooler air in the mountains and the north.
Warm sea temperatures, quieter beaches and the start of the Canary Islands cruise season.
Mild sunshine when home is cold, Carnival in Santa Cruz and snow on the summit of Teide.
Questions
Tenerife is mild all year. Winter is popular for its warm sunshine when it is cold at home, and spring and autumn are ideal for hiking on Mount Teide.
Most routes connect through Madrid or Barcelona, with a flight of about three hours to Tenerife. We can add a few days in Madrid, Barcelona or Lisbon on the way.
Tenerife is part of Spain. U.S. citizens can currently visit for short trips without a visa. The European Union is introducing new entry registration and authorization systems, so we confirm the current requirements for your trip.
A cable car climbs close to the summit. The final trail to the crater requires a permit that is limited each day, so we apply well ahead of your visit.
Yes. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a port of call on Canary Islands, Morocco and transatlantic itineraries, often combined with Madeira, other Canary Islands and mainland Spain.
Five to seven days allows time for Mount Teide, La Orotava, the Masca Valley, a whale watching trip and a few days at the beach.
