Japan · Planned start to finish
At Traveland, we plan personal journeys to Japan, from the neon of Tokyo and the shrines of Kyoto to the lakes and hot springs below Mount Fuji. We take care of the research, bookings and logistics, from the first conversation to your flight home, so your time goes into enjoying the trip, not planning it. We are a family-owned travel agency in Connecticut, planning trips since 1978 as a member of the Signature Travel Network.

Destinations
Japan is a place of contrasts, where thousand-year-old traditions sit beside bullet trains and bright city nights. Most first journeys begin with three places, and we help you decide how to pace them and what to add.
Tokyo is a vast, vibrant capital where quiet temples and gardens sit a few steps from glowing streets and some of the world’s most celebrated restaurants. It rewards those who know where to look, neighborhood by neighborhood.
A short train ride from Tokyo, Hakone offers traditional inns, natural hot springs and lake views toward Mount Fuji, Japan’s highest peak. It is where many travelers slow down and see a gentler side of the country.
As Japan’s former imperial capital, Kyoto is a window into the country’s cultural heritage, with historic temples and shrines, traditional wooden townhouses, tea houses and gardens shaped over centuries.
Where ancient tradition meets modern wonder.
We handle the details. You enjoy the journey.
