The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Truly the flagship of the South African national parks, Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. Man's interaction with the Lowveld environment over many centuries - from bushman rock paintings to majestic archaeological sites like Masorini and Thulamela - is very evident in the Kruger National Park. These treasures represent the cultures, persons and events that played a role in the history of the Kruger National Park and are conserved along with the park's natural assets.

Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Victoria Falls, where you will be met and transferred to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Victoria Falls, a World Heritage Site known as the "largest curtain of falling water on earth," remains as evocative a destination today as it was to 19th century explorers.
MEALS: Breakfast, Dinner in Hotel

After breakfast, join a guided tour of Victoria Falls. After a briefing on the Falls, your guide takes you by scenic pathways through the rainforest, with numerous viewpoints to enjoy along the way. One of the 7 natural wonders of the world, David Livingstone was the first European to visit the Falls, and named it after Queen Victoria. To the locals, it is known as "Mosi oaTunya" ---the Smoke that Thunders --- an accurate description of the turbulent waters of the Zambezi River cascading over the sheer precipice into a narrow gorge hundreds of feet below, creating a shower of spray and a deafening noise. You'll never forget the truly awe-inspiring sight of these magnificent falls. This afternoon, take a scenic sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, including drinks and snacks. Enjoy dinner at the hotel or traditional Boma restaurant.
